Genes may play role in women's orgasms

LONDON (AP) - A woman's ability to have an orgasm is at least partly determined by her genes and can't be blamed entirely on cultural influences, new research suggests. Experts say that's likely to be interpreted as both good and bad news.

"It'll be upsetting because some women will think, 'Oh my God, maybe I just can't.' On the other hand it takes away a kind of guilt or pressure," said Dr. Virginia Sadock, director of the human sexuality program at New York University Medical Center.

..."Maybe there are some women ... who can never. That is a possibility, but that would be a small amount," (Dr. Virginia) Sadock said.

...And even if they can't, that doesn't mean there's no joy for them in sex, (female orgasm expert Laura) Berman added. A survey she recently conducted found that among women enjoying satisfying sex lives, orgasm did not rate as a key element for fulfillment.

Hmmm...so maybe he is a great lover after all? :)

OK, the Human condition has been around long enough that certain things and FACTS have been obseved and noted . . . .

Sex between two (sometimes one) consenting adults will come naturally, given enough time and exposure . . And in almost all cases the male will have an orgasm . . that's a given . . Is a woman any different? not really . . .

Except . . . .

Sex is also a "Learned" experience, and an experience that will grow better with experience. . . . . But in our Judeo/Christian Society, we hold sex as natural for a male, a "Duty" for the Female . . . and we tell our daughters that sex is "Dirty" or not condoned in an open society . . . . So many women start their sexual maturity with the idea that it is "Not Good" but rather something that they must tolerate . . . Or even worse since Slick Willy, Women do not even equate Oral sex with sex . . . Oral sex to the younger women and girls is a way to get out of having sex . . . . And they'll never experience an orgasm, because they're mindset is basically programmed to be anti-sex . . .

I believe the psychiatrists who have studied sex, even though they differ about the majority of things related to it, will agree that most of Sex is mental . . . and without mental stimulation, physical stimulation will be lacking . . . we aren't animals you know . . thus no mental stimulation, no female orgasm during a normal sex act . . . .

Possibly we could relate genetics, as genetics play a major role in our development and personalities . . . . But even with the correct genes, unless mental stimulation is there, as well as physical, you got a zombie for a sex partner!
