Uglier Undercurrent

The recent editorial(Aug 18) by The Chieftain, chided School Board Member Montez and Assistant Superintendent Fuentes as having agenda's that were not relative to the prime directive of the District "Educate Children" Good Start!
However, the editorial completely ignores the deeper undercurrent of unrest .
Is there in fact a "Climate of Fear" amongst district staff?
If the objective goal of the Chieftain is to report the news, why not send out feelers to those fearful of speaking out?
Who are in fact "other adminstrators? If not their names, then what are thier titles?
Listen Chieftain folks...send out your ace reporters and expose a story that needs reporting.
We have a board member who lives on the east coast, a platform of Unity that excludes adminstrators ( is it Unity or Unionty?)
A charter school setting records, although only children without learning disorders or behaviour problems are allowed.
These are the real stories that are retarding proper education in Pueblo.

I really do not understand their reporting. I know many many folks back home in Pueblo. I know how things work so i think. There are many issue needing to be reported. I think it would be a "one winged" reporting. a simple approach. The kind that does not want to reach out to the WORLD WIDE WEB approach. There is a bigger world out there. And not their to try and fry; having said that there are other papers that will take you beyond I 25 and hwy 50. I try I try. Look at it this way. THEY give us this spring board to voice our opinion so they can get the online hits. It is called MINING! Anyway that's it.
