OK, what's the take on this one? I know there's as many opinions as readers here . . .

What we know, as of 3/22/05 @ 1253 MST:

9 people dead, 22 wounded, Shooter committed suicide. He shot His Grandfather, who was a Sergeant in the local PD, took several Handguns and a Shotgun, the Police car and drove to school, shot a security guard, a teacher and several students.

It's a tragedy, most certainly.

Outside of the emotional aspects, I am curious to see what kind of new legislation the gun control people start screaming for. How many gun laws did this kid break already? What would a few more prevent?

Yeah, this one ought to drive the "Brady bunch" right up a tree!

Killed a Cop for his weapons, in the Cop's house, took the guns and a vest, stole th' Police Car . . Then started shooting . . Thank God these A--holes can't shoot too well, he'd of Killed about twice, maybe Three times the number he actually shot . .

Did save the State some "Expense" though . . He executed himself!

Actually, if you're looking at th' laws he broke . . Hmmm, just Murder . . the rest are inconsequental . . you think?

But, if he was gonna kill himself, why'd he take the vest?

I guess he didn't want anyone robbing him of the "pleasure" of doing it himself.
